Lucia Aschettino

Lucia Aschettino served as Secretary and a Commissioner of the former PCSW state agency. She is currently chairwoman of the board of The Get In Touch Foundation, getintouchfoundation.org a non-profit dedicated to educating girls about the importance of breast health.

        Lucia also serves on the board of Christian Counseling Family & Life Center, a mental health center located in Shelton, Connecticut. She has served as a mentor for "at risk" girls in Kenya, with the Global Give Back Circle.

        Her professional career was in eCommerce and Customer Experience with Pitney Bowes Inc. Lucia is deeply committed and passionate about driving initiatives that effect women and girls. As a mother of two daughters, issues of gender equality, pay equity and women rights are issues that strongly resonate with all of her volunteer efforts.
